This beautiful old farmhouse has wonderful views of the fjord and amazing sunsets in the evening. It is located in the village of Bysheim, on the inland island of Osterøy and is well over 100 years old. Osterøy, with its deep fjords, mountains and fertile valleys, has been described as ‘a Norway in miniature’. The house offers a peaceful and quiet location, but with an easy drive to Bergen and for daytrips to Voss, Hardanger and Flåm. There are many mountain walks nearby, or if you are interested in culture you can visit Ole Bull’s summer house at Valestrand, the protected hamlet of Havråtunet near Bruvik, Osterøy Museum and the medieval church at Hamre. Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of NOK 150.00 per person or bring their own.
