This cozy holiday house is nicely located on a secluded plot in among beautiful nature. The house used to be the main house on the farm Linøyen Gård. The holiday house is tastefully decorated with delicate colors. The house is located on a small farm with settlement from before 1741 and it is only 50 meters from N35983. Perfect if you are a larger group travelling together. The area is very nice with views of the nearby mountains and is a nice place to spend your holiday, both summer and winter. The farm is located at the foot of Blefjell and for those who want to explore the area on foot, you will find great hiking terrain not far from the house. The area also offers opportunities for berry picking and fishing. On hot summer days you can go swimming in rivers or at Sandvann/Blefjell camping which can be recommended for families with children. In the area the holiday house is located, you can experience seeing moose and deer. For those interested in golf, there is a nice golf course as well as mini golf in Austbygde, a 30 minutes’ drive from the house. At Rjukan you can visit Rjukanbadet (water park) as well at a climbing park. Both Notodden and Rjukan is a world heritage site and is absolutely worth a visit. In Notodden you can attend the music festival Notodden Blues Festival. The water park Bø Sommarland is about 1 ½ hour drive from the holiday house and is recommended for the whole family.
