About the neighbourhood: Excellent hiking, cycling, fishing etc. in the local area. Getting around: It is a long walk from the property to the main road! We therefore suggest arriving by car or boat, both of which provide ample opportunity for exploring the local area. There are regular ferries from Bergen area via the Våge/Halhjem ferry, or it is a very scenic 'drive around' the fjords via the FV 48/49 (around 130km via this route to Bergen airport). We are also around 55km from Stord airport, with both airports offering a choice of car rental companies.
