It is a short distance to Sauda which offers restaurants, shops and water park. Try your fishing luck in the fjord or in one of the many freshwater in the area. There are also several good salmon lakes within a short distance by car. The area offers a number of hiking opportunities from spring to autumn with opportunities for berry and mushroom picking. In the summer the area arranges several events, such as Hovlandsnuten, Saudadagene and a fishing festival. In winter, it is only a short drive to Svandalen ski area with ski lifts and cross-country ski trails. Via national tourist routes you can drive to Røldal and further along Hardangerfjroden with Trolltunga and Folgefonna National Park. Day trips to Stavanger, Haugesund, Kjerag and Prekestolen near the Lysefjord can be recommended. Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate.
