The cabin is situated in a car-free area which along with the great garden and the proximity to the water makes this a perfect choice for families with children. If you want a more urban experience, the city of Sandefjord is not far away. There you find several nice beaches and sights, charming shops with food from the surrounding fields, and festivals in the summer - a great sample of Norwegian culture & food traditions. Within 30-40 minutes drive you reach both Tønsberg, Norway's oldest city, and the city of Larvik. Sandefjord, Tønsberg and Larvik have all archaeological sites from the Viking Era.
