Larger farmhouse in nice, natural surroundings at Jelsa. The holiday home has been modernised, but with focus on keeping the original. Close to the holiday home and the large terrace there are sheeps, so this is the place for a real farm holiday. More animals is on the farm 100 meters from the holiday home. Close by it is good opportunities for hiking trips in the lowlands and mountains with great view. This area is really nice, and Jelsa has been named the best preserved beach place in Ryfylke. With its small houses from the 1700s and lovely wooden church the place has also been named the most idyllic place in Rogaland. it is also nice beaches and good fishing opportunities in the fjord from land. It is only a drive to Sand, also calles Ryfylkets pearl. Here the nathional turistic road RV.13 goes through. Try fishing in Suldalslågen, a well known salmon river. Day trips to the small village Sauda with waterpark and golf court, and trips to the well known Lysefjorden with Kjeragbolten and Preikestolen is also recommended.
