There are also great opportunities for fishing in the area, both in fishing waters in the mountains or in Røldalsvatnet and Hardangerfjorden. In the winter there are great cross-country ski trails nearby. A visit to Røldal Stave Church and Odda is recommended. In Odda there are several shops, restaurants, golf course and swimming facilitates. For wonderful nature experiences ay trips by car along the beautiful Hardangerfjord can be recommended. Here you can visit Eidjord Nature Center, Jondal Summer Ski Center and Barony Rosendal. Guided tours at the glaciers Buerbreen and Bondhusbreen are also popular. Daytrips to Bergen and Haugesund is possible.
