A cozy cabin on the east side of Femund with a little walk to Elgå city center. Elgå is Norway’s southernmost with Sami settlement. Here, active reindeer husbandry is practiced and you can see the animals along the roads and on the mountains. The cabin is located close to two national parks, Femundsmarka National Park and Gutulia National Park. Both offers opportunities for hiking, fishing, biking and canoeing. Lake Femund, Norways second largest natural lake, is only a short walk away. Here you can go with MS Fæmund II. In the winter, you will find cross-country ski trails nearby and a large network of trails in the area. Opportunities for alpine skiing a drive away. The cabin also has a sauna, but this must be agreed with the house owner before arrival. Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of NOK 150.00 per person or bring their own. Consumption costs are not included in the room rate and will be charged according to guest use within 3 weeks after check-out.
