Welcome to a nice and cozy cabin located at the entrance to Hedmarksvidda. The cabin is spacious and well equipped. The surrounding area invites you to various activities in the summer and winter. In wintertime, the area can tempt with opportunities for alpine skiing and you will find a large network of cross-country ski trails close by. In the shed there is a heated room for ski preparation. The area is known to be snow proof. In the summer there are nice trails for hiking and cycling in the forest. An exciting trip is via Målia and further to the canyon Korpreiret and Øksnafallet. In the area there are several nice opportunities for swimming. It is possible to experience traditional dairy farming on Sloken Seter. Area attractions also include Løiten Brænderi and Løiten Lysstøperi. The area of the cabin is in the middle between the cities of Hamar and Elverum with many opportunities for shopping and restaurant visits. In Hamar the open air museum Domkirkeodden is worth a visit. A tour with Mjøsa’s whte swan, DS Skibladner is also recommended. In Elverum, the museums Glomdalsmuseet and Norsk Skogmuseum are worth a visit. This cabin and the surrounding area offers many opportunities for a pleasant holiday. To get to the cabin you must pass a toll road, and pay a fee.
