You who are looking for a quiet place to stay while writing on your book. You who love outdoor activities; hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing. You who just want to sit still while listening to the birds. It's a charming but simple wooden cottage with two bedrooms. Large windows facing east - early birds can watch the sunrise from the living room. There is a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable bathroom, and an outhouse. There is a high quality sound system with Dali speakers for you to enjoy, (Bluetooth connection). During this spring there will be several upgrades - a large window in the main bedroom and another in the living room. Pictures will come as soon as finished. Location: It is located in a very quiet area of the small ski resort of "Bortelid". You need to walk on a trail for about 3 minutes from the parking lot to the cottage. There are only a few cottages near by, and they are seldom in use during summer season. There is a small grocery shop 5 min away (by car). The nearest city is Kristiansand. From Kristiansand it is a 1.5 hour drive. There will be a canoe available for you, and we can also get you bikes if you would like. Please note that there is no wireless internet.
