The cabin is winter isolated and heats up fast with electrical ovens and an "katalytisk" gas oven that cleans the air and gives a good heat. By the dining table you can enjoy fresh fish for dinner while you see out on the great surroundings from the large windows. The cabin has a large and nice outdoor area where you can play and do fun outdoor activities together during holiday. The cabin is placed in a forrest area, perfect for picking berries and mushrooms in the right season. Close by you will find the three kilometer long lake Sjersæ with good fishing opportunities. Down by the water is a rowing boat ready to take you out on exiting fishing trips. Close by you will find a nice, sandy beach for hot summer days. On rainy days it might be better with a day in Frolandia water park with different pools, sauna and water slide. If you would like more activities during your holiday, it is possible to rent both bikes and kayakk from the houseowner upon request. During winter you can try both ice skating and ice fishing. It is also many, great cross country skiing trails not far from the cabin. For a little cultural history during your holiday, it is recommende to visit Frolands Verk, an iron work that is its time produced canon balls. For city tours it is recommended to visit cozy Arendal. Tromøy is not far from the cabin, and a park of Raet nathional park. The well known Dyreparken i Kristiansand (Zoo) is not far from the cabin. A perfect place if you seek an active holiday in the nature with fishing and walks, but also close to nice cities.
